After filling out the necessary forms, we will have our first session. For the first two sessions, I will be reviewing your intake form with you. After getting to know you and learning about your difficulties, I will develop an assessment and evaluation of your issues and discuss with you some of what I gathered. After examining the information collected, we will work together to establish goals, and I will develop a treatment plan for an effective outcome. I will also schedule a meeting with you once or twice weekly for an estimated number of sessions. I will evaluate effectiveness after several sessions to determine progress made. Considering the progress made, we will decide whether you should continue the counseling process or end the counseling relationship with desired effectiveness and or goals met.
