Hyde Park Counseling & Therapy is rooted in a wellness model & strength based philosophy. As a therapist,I strive to promote peace & authenticity within the self. My approach to treatment is integrative and person centered, allowing me to tailor treatment ingredients based on the client’s treatment issue, current state, preferences, identity, and style. My therapeutic work is rooted in humanistic, narrative, and experiential techniques. In addition to this framework other traditional or non-traditional techniques may be used when appropriate. I treat mental health issues ranging from mild stressors to traumatic or severe conditions. I work to help each client alleviate his or her discomfort no matter how acute or chronic. -Theoretical orientation: integrative blend of humanistic , narrative, experientialmind-body -Additional theoretical techniquestools: CBT and Adlerian approaches -Specialized training in the following complementary techniques: EFT, EMDR, BTT, BCST, Reiki, play therapy, psychodrama, drama therapy, movement based techniques, meditation.
