I believe that therapy is a process that should be guided jointly by the client and the therapist together. I have an inclusive and accepting style and strive to meet each person where they're at; my goal is not to tell you where I think you should be, but to help you figure it out in the therapeutic process.

I use a a variety of methodologies, depending on what seems to fit the person and the issue(s) they bring to therapy. My strengths include, but are not limited to, working with individuals & couples impacted by issues including depression, anxiety, chronic or terminal illness & relationship/intimacy issues, job stress, family of origin issues, and sexual difficulties. I have experience working with individuals and families impacted by chronic mental illnesses. I am specially trained in treating sexual dysfunctions, gender identity and/or sexual orientation issues. I have also worked extensively with people diagnosed with cancer and other chronic illnesses and the grief process.?
