My Approach to Helping

Are you tired of talking about the same issues over and over again and feeling no relief? That's because trauma treatment requires bottom-up approaches to rewire the lower parts of your brain that words can't access.

As a trauma-informed and EMDR trained licensed Creative Arts Therapist, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, complex-PTSD and single-event PTSD. Beyond traditional talk therapy, I incorporate music and art, EMDR, somatic work, and inner child (parts) work to help you process core issues and past trauma that are most likely the root causes of your current symptoms and challenges.

Research studies have supported the effectiveness of EMDR, somatic work, and creative arts therapy in treating trauma, phobia, stress, addiction, anxiety, and depression. The process of music and art-making can offer a deeper experience of self-expression and exploration and allow you to access and understand your subconsciousness. It also fosters flow and creativity, which can further enhance resiliency and quality of life. I will also give you tools to strengthen your emotional muscles so you can feel more in control in your life.
