My Approach to Helping

Everyone struggles from time to time. That’s true. But maybe you’ve gotten the sense that your problems are starting to be too much to handle on your own. Maybe you feel uncontrollably anxious, depressed, lost, or just “empty.” Because you manage to get by “well enough” in the world, the people in your life might not really notice that you’re not okay and that - deep down - you’re hurting. But… there’s some good news. Whether you’ve already spent years coping with severe psychological difficulties or you simply feel like you’re not living up to your full potential, I’m here for you. I work with my patients in a direct, responsive, and teamwork-oriented way.

If you’re up to the challenge, I want to invite you to take the first of many steps toward a better, more fulfilling life! Visit the "how therapy works" tab on my website to learn more about how I work with patients, as well as to book your first session with me!

Groups I Work With

I have expertise in the treatment of patients who struggle with major depressive disorder, social and or relationship problems, members of LGBTQ+ communities, and those experiencing life transitions. I also have a special interest in working with patients who’ve had difficult, challenging, or unproductive experiences in past therapies. Incidentally, my doctoral dissertation was on special issues in the psychoanalytic treatment of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals; thus, I have unique expertise related to the psychotherapeutic treatment of "wealthy," affluent, or high SES patients.
