My Approach to Helping
I believe that resiliency is possible. The human mind and body has potential that exceeds our own understanding. I work collaboratively with my clients under the belief that old patterns can be reshaped, relationship can be rebuilt, and emotional wellness can be obtained. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals from various walks of life. I am bi-lingual and specialize in cultural awareness as a lens for my understanding of the experience of others. I am here to support and understand those who are looking for change.
I am a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have received both my bachelor’s and master’s degree from La Salle University in the field of Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. My clinical work spans from working with family systems as well as drug and alcohol counseling groups. I have experience doing trauma work with adolescents and utilizing Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) to inform my treatment. I continue to work towards licensure by accumulating clinical hours working with individuals and families with varying needs.
