My Approach to Helping
Sarah Hairston is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and religious trauma syndrome. She works with individuals across all walks of life, ages 18-86+. With a master’s degree in both Social Work and Religious Studies, she is able to provide a safe space to explore and cope with many different and unique situations.
Sarah utilizes a feminist-based, client-centered approach to reach your end goals. While you are the driver of your car, she is the mechanic. You are the expert of your experiences, and she is here to provide insight around what practice has shown to help.
“Overall, I am here to show up, hear what is in your heart and provide perspective as you may need” – Sarah Hairston, LCSW
As a queer-identifying, rugby-playing, outdoors enthusiast, Sarah brings a wide variety of ideas and concepts into the therapeutic relationship. She is a strong ally and advocate for the LGBTQI+ community and is determined to help make the world a better place, one conversation at a time.
