My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I strive to create a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, client-centered lens—believing that healing begins with being seen, heard, and accepted as you are. My work is deeply influenced by my own lived experiences as a queer, person with a disability navigating systems that often fall short in offering true equity and care.
I integrate mindfulness, psychoeducation, and cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients build insight, self-compassion, and practical skills for growth. I also believe in the power of storytelling and identity exploration, especially for those whose voices have been silenced or misunderstood.
I am committed to ongoing learning and actively working to center racial justice and intersectionality in both my practice and my community. Whether we’re working through trauma, identity, chronic illness, or everyday stress, I view therapy as a place where clients can reclaim power, explore their truth, and cultivate resilience.
Above all, I believe in advocacy and solidarity—not just as values, but as actions that shape the way I show up as a therapist and human being.
