What's My Approach to Therapy?
I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and mindfulness, while also weaving in warmth, humor, and curiosity. I aim to help you understand the roots of your emotional patterns and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low self-worth, or life transitions, we’ll work together to move toward clarity, self-trust, and lasting change.
My Practice & Services
I run a fully virtual practice serving adults across Texas, Florida, and Oregon. I specialize in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-worth, and trauma—using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs. I value authenticity, self-compassion, and meaningful growth. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, respected, and truly empowered. We are LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, and deeply committed to reducing stigma around mental health.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
My own struggles have deeply shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I know what its like to feel stuck, unseen, or overwhelmed and I don't take lightly the courage it takes to reach out for help. Going through my own healing journey taught me the importance of compassion, boundaries, and honoring emotional truths. It's also given me a deep respect for each client's process. I don't approach therapy as someone with all the answers, but as someone who will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and a steady presence. Those lived experiences have made me a more present, grounded, and human therapist.
