My Approach to Helping

Everyone has the potential to make positive changes in their lives. Making those changes is more likely when you find a therapist who is empathetic and authentic-someone with whom you can connect and trust. I am trained in a variety of empirically supported psychological treatments including CBT, problem-solving therapy, behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, structural family therapy (SFT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT). Although many of these therapeutic techniques are highly structured, I take an individualized approach to understand my clients, viewing each client as unique with personal life experiences belonging only to you.

As a clinical and forensic psychologist, I have experience working with people of all ages. I have worked with people experiencing mild problems to severe mental health and behavioral problems in outpatient and inpatient settings. I provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy.

Empathy and authenticity provide a foundation for successful therapy. Your full potential is always within reach and a therapeutic relationship based in sincere, empathetic, and authentic dialogue is healing. Call me today for a free, phone consultation and get started on a better and brighter present and future.
