My Approach to Helping
There are times when life feels out of balance. Too much stress, too many fights, too great a struggle just to stay on top of things. When that happens, it's easy to become overwhelmed, and become trapped by feelings of sadness, anger, or anxiety. If you find yourself in a situation that seems hard to manage alone, please know that there is hope.
More Info About My Practice
I work most effectively with the many issues that arise during recovery from addictions, as well as relationship conflicts, major life upheavals, and the challenges of parenthood. My purpose as a therapist is to help you find whatever is missing in your life, and how to better understand yourself in relation to others.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
As we overcome stumbling blocks and resolve distressing issues, we?ll work to calm your anxiety, lift your sadness, and create greater self-awareness. Together we can build a more hopeful future as we discover new facets of your individuality, while bringing about the change you desire.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
I don't insist on a set number of sessions. Many people find once a week to be ideal, while some prefer to meet more frequently. Some come in with a specific goal they want to work toward; with others, a longer-term, analytical approach is what's called for. We will work together to determine the best course of action for you.
I hope you will contact me to take the first step toward a better tomorrow.
