My Approach to Helping
Clients tell me I’m unconventional, hippy-dippy, and I think they’re probably right. I like to fuse my psychology, social work, and life coaching background with my experience of being a human and artist, because I’m human first and therapist second. I approach therapy like art, with existential thinking, emotional connection, and a space to heal with creativity and curiosity. I've learned the interventions and the psychoanalytical theories, but at the end of the day, I enjoy creating art with you based on the thoughts, feelings, and experiences you bring into sessions. Our therapeutic relationship is a canvas to embrace the mess of life, rarely knowing what it is that we're creating, but taking a moment in time together to acknowledge the beauty that can come from the telling of our stories.
