My Approach to Helping
Taking the first steps toward therapy can often be difficult and intimidating. I strive to create a non-judgmental and safe space for clients to be their authentic selves and begin working through their challenges. I believe that every person has the innate strength to make positive and sustainable change. Through my experience, I've found that self-love and acceptance brings about healing and the ability to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. With empathy, genuine interactions and direct feedback, I work with my clients to help them achieve their goals.
My training includes anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma. I specialize in working with teens and young adultsadults who are navigating difficult life transitions, individuals coping with immigrant-experience related stressors, and those with a family history of substance abuse and trauma.
With a great appreciation that therapy is not a “one size fits all” process, I collaborate with clients to better understand their needs while staying true to my therapeutic style. This ensures my ability to determine a treatment approach that is effective, flexible and most importantly, one that aligns directly with their personal goals.
