My Approach to Helping
Hello! Are you struggling with ANXIETY, burnout, anger, or overwhelm? Perhaps it's sadness, guilt, SHAME or feeling NUMB that's troubling you? Worrying or in your head too much? Lacking confidence or striving for perfection? Difficulty experiencing joy? Stuck in a hole and having difficulty climbing out? These are issues I have helped my clients with over the years while providing a respectful and non-judgmental space. In particular, I am experienced in helping adults with stress, anxiety, depression or emotional regulation difficulties to develop and strengthen skills of to better handle difficult emotions, thoughts, urges and memories. Some skills I work on are learning to tolerate uncertainty, acceptance in place of avoidance, and self-compassion in place of critical self-talk. Collaboratively we will explore what is keeping you stuck and build your capacity to live a life of greater ease, wellness, purpose and authenticity.
You've been working hard to manage this far on your own; however, sharing your story with a trained therapist can provide an opportunity for growth. If feeling uneasy to start, this is normal.
