My Approach to Helping
Welcome to Therapy Heals! I have worked with individuals, children, adolescents, young adults, couples, families, and groups in a variety of capacities. My expertise is in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, parenting challenges, self-esteem issues, stress and relationship difficulties. I am known for my compassionate, strengths-based approach and my ability to not only help my clients navigate through life stressors, but also to explore ways to live more meaningfully and purposefully.
My therapeutic approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and the Gottman Method.
I understand that therapy can be challenging, but through a comfortable environment and creating a safe space, clients will feel more confident in the process.
