My Approach to Helping
My approach to treatment is based on the idea that “it’s the relationship that heals.†I believe that the relationship between the counselor and client is the catalyst for insight and empowerment. I believe that all individuals have the ability to heal and change. My role as a counselor is to support my client through their journey while creating a safe, non-judgmental space for them to share their feelings and experiences. As each client is unique and has their own individual needs, my approach is eclectic, evolving to fit my client’s personal goals.
When I’m not in session, I enjoy taking exercise classes, reading, spending times with friends and family, as well as trying new restaurants.
