The navigation through life can be very difficult and the journey in life is not meant to be traveled alone. While the therapeutic journey can be difficult to start, I welcome and value the opportunity to support you on your journey by providing a safe place to discuss life’s difficulties, being support for guidance, providing active listening, and promoting authentic healing and growth by providing compassionate care. The results of the therapeutic journey can be truly life-changing.
I use a strength-based and client-centered approach because I truly believe each person is strong and resilient, so it is my goal to help clients identify their personal strengths to use as a catalyst for change. I encompass a holistic approach, addressing all aspects of an individual, including their emotional health, physical health, and personal experiences. Additionally, I have extensive experience incorporating an individual’s spiritual practices and religious preferences within the therapeutic environment to better address interpersonal conflicts.
I use different therapeutic models in my practice to meet the needs of each individual. I will often incorporate a positive psychology model, which focuses on individual well-being, the positive aspects of the human experience, exploring factors that contribute to a fulfilling life, reflection about the value in life and fostering individual happiness. It is my desire to help each client identify their strengths to navigate through life’s difficulties.
