My Approach to Helping
I believe each person seeking therapy is unique, and I am here to provide options and tools to help make healthy change a reality. Growth and healing are possible, and I guide each client on that journey.
I treat adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, marriage and relationship issues, family conflict, and more. I am also especially skilled at supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
In therapy, I find the points of connection to client experiences and use my knowledge to bring about a synthesis of those experiences. My treatment approach is eclectic, drawing on psychodynamic, evidence-based, and existential methods to help clients heal.
I earned an MSW from Loyola University Chicago. I started counseling later in life and have a great deal of synthesized experience to draw on when serving clients.
