Rather than diagnosing problems as an expert and handing out "one-size-fits-all" solutions, I operate from a stance of curiosity and wonder. I am interested in your story and the meanings you make. In working as a Pasadena therapist, I've found that therapy works best when counseling involves a collaborative approach. More Info About My Practice
I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. I attended and taught private high school in Pasadena, which is why I have a special appreciation for current or past students from private schools. I'm keen to the special stresses and concerns that come from higher-income individuals and families, especially as they involve substance use, sexuality issues and social/relationship challenges.

I specialize in working with teens and young adults, especially young men. I specialize with individuals and families struggling with drug and alcohol use, sexuality and gender issues, Internet addictions and challenges with social awkwardness, including some degrees of autism and Asperger's.
