My Approach to Helping

From the outside, you appear to have it all together… Yet on the inside, you may feel like you're barely holding it together. You may feel stuck in a relationship, a job, or your own life. You may be overwhelmed by trying to make everyone happy or feel like you're simply going through the motions of life.

Hi, I'm Seema. I help clients struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, identity issues, family issues, painful childhoods & dissociative disorders work toward living a healthier, happier, and more balanced life. Sometimes we need someone who “sees” us, understands us, and can partner with us in our struggles. The human response to suffering is complex, where intertwined systems react - mind, body, and spirit. I help my clients put the pieces together and recognize how their pain may be manifesting in their lives. I strive to create an alliance where we work together so you can freely explore anything that's on your mind.

I am a holistic trauma therapist who strives to help clients live the life they want through a deep exploration of their past and present patterns, relationships, and coping skills while using various evidence-based global modalities. I have advanced training in trauma, helping clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, executiveprofessional dilemmas, racialcultural struggles, identity issues, immigration trauma, suicidal ideation, spiritual trauma, childhoodsexual trauma, and dissociative disorders. I provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, safe space to process and work through challenges.... but in the end, simply being heard by an attuned, empathic person can be a strong beginning in your healing journey.

I believe all humans are interconnected. However, we all have a unique path - filled with our feelings, histories, strengths, and struggles. Sometimes we can feel alone in our journey. Reconnecting to our deep inner wisdom is vital to our overall well-being. If you're ready to feel less alone and more connected.

Let's take this journey together.

More Info About My Practice

I believe therapy is more than "talk therapy." I believe to HEAL, we must focus on the Whole Self, holistically looking at the body, mind, and soul. I utilize Global Evidence-Based Psychological and healing practices to help you holistically move forward. I help clients connect to their own needs, feelings, and wants so they can trust themselves to live the life they want, honoring their authentic and genuine selves and purpose.

When we are struggling, it affects all parts of us. It affects the way we operate in the world, our relationships, and what we say to ourselves. I help my clients do a deep dive into their conditioning, allowing them to see the patterns and behaviors that have held them back, and then support them in constructing the new future they want. Healing includes not only the mind but also the body and the soul (our sense of who we are, our purpose, sense of meaning on this planet).

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, workplace issues, racial or cultural struggles, therapy after a big physical change or illness, spiritual questions, dissociative disorders, or trauma, I work on building tools that help you unravel your past, recognize behavior patterns, and improve your overall well-being. My holistic approach reconnects the mind, body, and soul, allowing you to reclaim yourself and live the life you want.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO FEEL COMFORTABLE & SAFE WITH WHOMEVER YOU WORK WITH.

Finding a therapist requires a deep alliance & healing hinges on that therapeutic relationship. When you're struggling, that relationship becomes even more important. Sometimes it's hard to take the first step and ask for help. I honor you reaching out and moving towards wellness.

Clients describe me as a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental guide that allows them to truly be who they are in session. Clients say that my empathy and unrelenting faith in their abilities have allowed them to move past traumas and hurt they never thought possible.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

WORKPLACE TRAUMA FOR HIGH-PERFORMING EXECUTIVES & PROFESSIONALS
High-performing executives and professionals lack the same systems of protection within an organization. Especially in marginalized populations (women, sexual minorities, religious minorities, and BIPOC), speaking up and advocating for oneself simply isn't a possibility. The consequences then impact the individual holistically, personally and professionally. Moving forward requires the engagement of a specialist intimately aware of the nuances of corporate trauma, especially among high-performing executives & professionals. My extensive research combined with my many years in Senior Leadership at prominent companies, allows me to understand various dimensions of my client that may be impacting them.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

I get it ? stepping into therapy can be daunting. But here's the truth: Seeking support is a courageous choice, a powerful step towards self-discovery and well-being. Finding a compassionate therapist that provides a safe haven, free of judgment, is key to your journey to healing. I tell clients to think of therapy as your passenger when you are driving a car. We help you spot oncoming traffic, hurdles, have conversations about what's happening in your life, help you problem-solve, and serve as your guide along your journey. Therapy is about a supporting relationship with understanding, empathy, and one that leads to transformation.
