Are you feeling stuck in your life's current circumstances and feel like there is no way out? Do you know deep down that you are capable of MORE, but just can't seem to find the power, energy or motivation to get there? Do you sit around and wait for circumstances in your life to change hoping that THEN you will feel happier and more fulfilled? Take your power back!! I believe that everyone has the power within themselves to create the life they want, but that sometimes we just get stuck and don't know how to move forward, which can cause feelings of anxiety and depression. Sometimes, even in the midst of pain and suffering we can find that glimmer of HOPE. All it takes is a glimmer. Let me help you transform your glimmer of hope into a life that feels happier and more fulfilled. I utilize a relational and strengths-based approach to therapy and believe that by focusing on your strengths, staying present and mindful in each moment and creating a healthier balance between your mind, body and spirit that you can begin to transform your life into the life you have always envisioned.

As the mid-19th century poet Ralph Waldo Emerson quoted, "Life is a journey, not a destination". Come meet with me and learn strategies to make your journey what YOU want it to be.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I lived a good portion of my life feeling like I was a victim of my circumstances and that I had NO power to take control of my life to make it different. It wasn't until I found the courage to get divorced several years ago and as a result CHOOSE a life that included financial hardships and being a single mother of two young kids that I realized that I was actually the ONLY one who had the power to change my life. Today, I am grateful for my two AMAZING kids, the support of my family and friends, a career that I love and my passion for helping others to discover their OWN personal strength.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Going to therapy actually means the exact opposite! Going to therapy means that you acknowledge that your happiness and well-being is important. It means that you are taking the control to change something in your life that is not currently working for you. Be proud of yourself! I am.
