My Approach to Helping
Throughout life we have experiences that affect us in various ways. Together, you and I can work towards identifying goals and work towards ways to becoming an improved version of you. It is about you, meeting you where you are, and assisting with what it is you seek out to accomplish in your personal journey.
I aim to provide a warm and supportive space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in a safe and confidential environment. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and evidence-based drawing on various treatment modalities including, but not limited to, CBT, EMDR, and Solution Focused. I utilize different modalities specified to your needs to help you process and heal from the psychological impacts of negative experiences.
It can be challenging to accept that we need support, which may have you feeling hesitant. I am here to assure you that therapy is a common and a helpful resource, and doesn't equate to weakness.
