More Info About My Practice

I come from a place of understanding. Not everyone fits into the same category or comes in with the same problems. You are unique and important. I specialize in Stress Management. There are so many ways that stress affects our lives. It can impact our family, health and our relationships. It can increase feelings of depression and anxiety. I also specialize in individuals and families who are affected by Type 1 diabetes. I have co-authored an article for Beyond Type 1 with my daughter about the impact it has on the individual and the family.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being a therapist. I believe it is an honor to be a part of your life. I have wanted to be a therapist since I was a teeneger. I feel it is an honor to be brought into your life experience and allowed to help you with your journey. Being able to help work through your struggles and find meaning or peace in your life is what drives me. I enjoy being able to work others. My hope is to help bring peace and tranquility to others.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

It is important that you feel comfortable and heard. Coming into therapy can be very scary for some people. I understand and appreciate this. My job is to hold the trust you place in me as sacred.
