Many mental health issues arise out of imbalances in the body or the brain. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, and some behavior problems come from physical imbalances. But drugs aren't the answer.

These problems are often signals that the body is out of balance. Restoring the body to optimal health through balance of heart, body, and brain is required. A holistic approach to mind and body will help you resolve the physical and emotional issues.

I use LENS Neurofeedback, HearthMath, the Walsh Protocol, and other Naturopathic modalities. There is not a one-size fits all approach. Your problem is unique and your solution is too. I assess your situation to determine the best approach for you.

Emotional and physical trauma is stored in the body. We are learning that that trauma can change how are cells operate. Release of this trauma is needed to allow the body to return to optimal health. It also makes therapy more effective. The techniques I have can help you get back on track. Call today to learn more about how you can be helped.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Many people have problems that arise after a traumatic brain injury. This is more common than originally believed and often people don't connect their emotional struggles to the TBI. I can help identify that as an issue and treat it.

Theoretical Influences that Guide My Work

I am more of a facilitator of balancing the physical body so that therapy works more effectively. I don't see a separation between mind and body but rather they work together. My treatments reflect that philosophy. Many conditions arise because of imbalances in the body or the brain.

I use lab tests as appropriate to find the imbalance in your system. In general, I don't see a diagnosis as much as a biochemical challenge. Lab tests that aren't typically ordered by traditional medical providers can be used to determine the root cause of the condition.

The work of Dr. William Walsh has shown that many conditions can be divided into 6 or 7 subtypes that are treatable if known. Conditions such as schizophrenia, autism, ADD, OCD, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiance, anxiety, and depression are treatable using nutritional supplements in many cases. Most patients experience great improvement in symptoms. Therapy is more effective as well.
