My Approach to Therapy

Feeling stuck? You’re not alone. Many people work hard to change but find themselves circling the same old patterns, wondering why progress feels out of reach. It can be exhausting—and disheartening—to keep trying without seeing results. What I offer: I provide insight‑oriented therapy that blends gentle curiosity with deep exploration. Together, we’ll: -build a trusting, respectful partnership -uncover the hidden patterns that keep you stuck -use those insights to guide specific, effective changes -cultivate what works so you can live closer to your values and feel better My approach draws on two decades of dedicated meditation practice, retreats, and study with lineage holders, integrated with a grounding in the sciences, teaching, and outdoor leadership. As a contemplative therapist, I incorporate mindfulness‑based awareness from Buddhist traditions, helping you feel relief while uncovering your inherent wisdom for lasting change. By the end of our work, you’ll feel more self‑aware, empowered, and capable of responding to life’s challenges in new ways. I’m here to listen deeply, share thoughtful insight (maybe a hard question or two), and support you on a genuine, collaborative journey toward healing and change. Feel free to reach out—whether you have questions, concerns, or simply curiosity about how we can work together.

My Practice & Services

Like most, I offer sessions through video because I want therapy to be accessible. To that end, I also prioritize flexibility in scheduling, offer a sliding scale, and provide receipts for out-of-network reimbursements.
