My Approach to Helping

I believe that just like any relationship, the more you are an active participant and can better express what you want, the better chance you will have of receiving the relief you need. Remember that therapy, in the hands of a skilled therapist, is a wonderfully powerful and life-changing experience.I believe in promoting client choice and responsibility, achieving authentic relationships and working in the present. Specializing in Grief Counseling, I guide individuals and families through loss, depression/despair, life's transitions and emotions (and all that is stated above). I draw from my own life experiences, intuition and skills with a soft, yet direct touch and over twenty years of counseling in private practice, schools and community service programs.
