Therapy is not one size fits all and it definitely is not a person show. It's more of a team effort. I focus on collaborating with clients to identify and work towards their goals. My sessions are compassionate, genuine, and sprinkled with humor at times. It is essential for me to ensure that my sessions are a place where you can feel comfortable discussing even the most sensitive of topics in a judgment free space. My goal is to help you revive and thrive! I am a Columbia University graduate but the best education has been my 17+ years of experience working with clients. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have worked with various client populations addressing various concerns including life stressors and transitions, grief or loss, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, managing chronic illness, Bipolar Disorder and more. I'll be using various approaches and interventions depending on your specific needs and preferences. Some common interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Object Relations Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Approach, Family Systems Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. Sessions can also be provided in Spanish and Portuguese.

I am a certified Clinical Supervisor for clinicians who are not fully licensed as well as a Field Instructor for students working towards their graduate Social Work degree.
