My Approach to Helping

Are you looking for effective, short-term individual or couples' counseling? With so much stress in daily life, you may have difficulty managing the important areas of your life and are increasingly anxious, lonely, depressed, and noticing your bad habits on the rise. I can help you gain tools to cope well, increase your ability to relax, and experience more connection with others. Counseling can help you learn how to effectively manage your life in ways that work for you.

For couples, if you and your partner/spouse are feeling more anger and distance than affection these days, I can give you a fresh perspective and help you find ways to reconnect. Sometimes we just get stuck in our ways and can't see how to get out, or infidelity, addictions, or other serious problems may occur, and we need help finding resolution. One of the benefits of counseling is learning to communicate about tough, thorny issues in such a way that you can stay connected to your partner. Some of these challenges stem from deep-seated differences that require effort to find a comfortable way to deal with, but the relationship will deepen and grow as you work on this together.
