My Approach to Therapy

You may be feeling stuck in patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or carrying the impact of experiences that continue to affect you in the present. You may have a good understanding of why things are happening and still find yourself reacting in ways that feel frustrating, overwhelming, or hard to shift. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest about what is really going on. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and explore the emotions and patterns underneath what is bringing you to therapy. Together, we can better understand what is getting in the way and begin creating more choice in how you respond to yourself, your relationships, and the situations you face. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that our experiences and relationships shape the ways we connect with ourselves and others. I draw from emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, and mindfulness practices to help clients develop greater self-understanding and identify new ways of relating to themselves and the people they care about. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship concerns, anxiety, self-worth, emotional overwhelm, and the effects of difficult life experiences. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My role is to meet you where you are, help you make sense of what feels stuck, and support you as you move toward a life that feels more connected, intentional, and fulfilling.

My Practice & Services

I provide in-person therapy in Lake Oswego and virtual therapy throughout Oregon. My practice works with adults, teens, and couples and is affirming of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures. I am a private-pay provider and can provide superbills for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, discuss what is bringing you to therapy, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

It's completely normal to feel unsure about starting therapy. Reaching out to someone you don't know and talking about parts of your life that feel vulnerable can be uncomfortable. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting. A consultation can be a chance to connect, ask questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. Finding the right therapist matters.
