My Approach to Helping
Has life become overwhelming? Is anxiety, pain, or trauma clouding your ability to connect with others? It doesn't have to be this way. I believe we all have the capacity to live successful, fulfilling lives regardless of the challenges we may have faced. My approach to therapy is about helping each individual reconnect with strengths and skills that may have gotten lost amongst life's many stressors. I take a holistic approach to health and utilize treatment approaches that recognize the importance of the brain-body connection. I use EMDR, DBT, and other mindfulness-based practices to help my clients soothe the mind and body together.
