My Approach to Helping

Congratulations on taking the first step in the process to improve your life! It takes resolve and bravery to seek out counseling. I will work with you in a safe environment, free from judgment. With a combination of gentle confrontation and skilled support, you and I will work to heal past trauma and make positive changes so that you can live your best life. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I am a member of my profession's national honor society: Chi Sigma Iota. I also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from New York University. When I am not following my passion in helping others improve their lives, I am spending time with my wife and two beautiful children. I have specialized training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), divorce recovery, and treating sexual addiction. Additionally, I am a Certified PrepareEnrich marriage counselor. Let me offer you the hope you are looking for. Call me today to talk about your specific needs.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I believe that everyone who seeks out counseling is basically healthy, but may have been wounded by lost love, trauma, or harsh judgments. Counseling is extremely affective for healing these past issues. Once you have dealt with the past, you can use counseling to achieve your present and future optimal life. It is most affective for addressing two primary questions: Is my primary relationship loving, honest and open and contributing positively to the rest of my life? and Do I find joy in life almost every day?
