My Approach to Helping
I help adolescents, young adults & adults (individual or couples) who are struggling with depression, anxiety, crises of meaning, relationship issues, life transitions, and struggles with grief & loss. Within a warm and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I adopt an eclectic approach which includes elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt, Existential and Humanistic approaches using positive psychology and strengths-focus themes. I work with clients to foster self-acceptance, psychological flexibility, the management of strong emotions, and healthy relationships.
