My Approach to Helping
Have you ever felt you are not or have not been really heard? Perhaps a spouse or boss or parent doesn't listen for what you are really saying, or just outright dismisses your words and feelings? In our sessions you will be heard. I will keep watch for indications of things you may have turned a blind eye to, and I will help you to explore these things. Together we will discover behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes that cause difficulties in your life, and we will collaborate to replace them with behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes that will bring about and maintain happiness. Psychotherapy can help end depression, anxiety, and bothersome thoughts and behaviors, it can alleviate pain and help you to enjoy life more.
