My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master's degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. I strive to help clients see a way forward from feeling stuck by forming a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. This is where clients feel empowered to maneuver life transitions in an authentic and honest way.
While it is crucial to identify positive coping skills to navigate difficult times, it is equally as important to acknowledge and strengthen resources already in a client’s toolkit. I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach in my work with adults and teenagers on setting manageable objectives to meet realistic goals.
