My Approach to Helping

My approach is to offer guidance, direction, and support for people who wish to gain insight into themselves and explore their thoughts and feelings. Everyone has the potential to feel their best and to live full and meaningful lives. Our sessions together will be interactive. We'll work collaboratively to set goals, and explore your strengths while paying close attention to what you're thinking and feeling. Our work together will help you empower you to trust yourself and to build your confidence in being the person you want to become.

Finding the right therapist who can equally offer compassion, and understand you, while challenging you to grow, is a very important process. I look forward to being that person for you.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I've had the privilege of seeing people gain insight into understanding how their thoughts impact their feelings. As people learn how to be more aware of their negative thoughts and focus on thoughts that encourage, support and positively motivate themselves, they can decrease their anxiety and depression. Psychotherapy can help you explore and discover how to have close and meaningful relationships by improving your ability to communicate feelings more effectively.
