My Approach to Helping
Hi! I’m Kristen, psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher. My practice encourages a deep love for the self which we know elevates our mental, emotional and psychological capacities. When we believe we are worthy, when we believe we can achieve, when we believe we are enough, this is when our foundation is strong enough to be blown about by any winds that come our way. My approach also incorporates connecting you to your personal value system, using these values as your individualized compass to navigate life goals and decision making.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
We go to school to learn academia, we take music lessons to learn theory and technique, we go to sports practice to learn skills and strategy... We go to therapy to learn about ourselves and how we engage with the world around us. We do no attend sessions because we are failing, we attend sessions because we are enriching.
