My Approach to Helping
Are you noticing that your child is anxious? Has lost motivation in school? Maybe you are entering into arguments frequently, and you don't know why. This can be frustrating and concerning as a parent - it's hard to know where to start. I specialize in working with families, utilizing play therapy with children, and incorporating talk therapy, art therapy, and music with adolescents. My work with families often looks like navigating through school issues, loss of motivation, trauma, boundary setting, anxiety, depression, and family conflict.
I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy - working with children, adolescents and families. I believe that change comes in the context of the family environment, and will work with the child and family to ensure everyone is feeling supported to create the change they wish to see.
It is my honor and privilege to come alongside individuals and families in their most challenging moments and help them into a space of wholeness and hope - in whatever form that looks like for them. It would be my privilege to hear your story and walk with you and your family into a space of living your best lives together.
