My Approach to Helping
I completed my doctoral work at the University of La Verne in Public Administration with an emphasis in Health Care Administration. I have a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s in Human Behavior from National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California in San Diego.
I hold a California Marriage and Family Therapy license (LMFT) and I hold a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Chapman University. I am trained as a volunteer mediator through the National Conflict Resolution Center. I am a Certified Anger Management Specialist through the National Anger Management Association. I am a Certified Life Coach. I have won several awards in the community including and not limited to the following: the 10 News Leadership Award, 40 under 40 Award, Stay Classy Awards, Molina Healthcare Award, Women Who Move the City Award, and recently won my second Professoriate Award at National University.
I help my client craft a better life. I believe that we are the architects of our lives, and despite the circumstances in which we were brought into this world, we can design a life that helps us live our best life. I can provide therapy in both English and Farsi.
