My Approach to Helping
It is an honor to work with clients and a responsibility that I take very seriously. Moreover, I knew from a very young age that I wanted to devote my life to helping others. In fact, at the age of nine, I declared that I wanted to be a psychologist and have never looked back.
As a clinical psychologist, my approach is empathic, supportive, direct, and collaborative. I view therapy as a journey toward deeper understanding, healing, and growth. As humans, our capacity for growth is vast and impressive. Sometimes we just need some help getting started or getting unstuck. Your task is to decide with whom to embark on that journey. This is not an easy decision, but I am happy to help you with that process.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
Perhaps you have never been in therapy. Perhaps you have tried it and found it to be a negative experience. Please don't let that deter you. It is so important to find the right therapist with a style you like, a warmth you relate to, a skill-set you respond to, and a sense of mutual respect you need. I wish you the best in your search and I hope to hear from you.
