I have been a clinical social worker since 1997. I use an eclectic approach, using a strengths-based approach, trauma-informed, drawing from strategies from cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and DBT. I have experience in private practice, hospice, child and family settings, and integrated health care. I utilize a strength-based approach, drawing from the patient's existing strengths and resilience. I use modalities associated with cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I specialize in grief, bereavement, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I encourage my patients to develop their goals for wellness.
