My Approach to Helping
Connection, confidentiality, support, trust... all things that are needed to form a good therapeutic alliance and a strong collaborative relationship, all things that you should find within your relationship with your therapist. My goal is to provide a safe and peaceful environment that fosters growth and healing.
Acknowledgment, validation, the feeling of being heard... we are all searching for these things. With active listening I am able to help my clients not only feel these things, but learn to self-validate, acknowledge their own uniqueness and find their voice that will be heard.
Whether healing past traumas or dealing with future fears, we learn to be present in the moment, experiencing and accepting the moment we are in now. Learning to accept ourselves with kindness and no judgment.
