My Approach to Helping
You’re feeling disconnected from everyone, even those closest to you. You put others’ needs before yours and feel guilty otherwise. You want everyone to like you but you wish you didn’t care. You beat yourself up for holding your tongue and struggle to let people in, even those closest to you. You’d like to socialize...but you talk yourself out of it for fear of being rejected...again. You desire to connect on a deeper level but you continue to isolate. You feel like a burden when you express your needs which is why you rarely do. You desperately want to let go of things from the past that are weighing you down but you feel stuck.
You want to speak up and ask for what you want. You want to be open with your loved ones. You want to feel more confident & self-assured. You want to say “no” without apology. You crave to genuinely feel calm. You want to feel comfortable meeting new people and let others get to know the real you. You want to take up space. You want to forgive yourself.
I support women like you in experiencing deeper connection with yourself and others. With extensive training in creative arts and drama therapy, I'll help you resolve these inner conflicts in new ways. As a disability justice therapist, I look forward to creating a space that honors & celebrates individual identities while navigating societal barriers.
