My Approach to Helping
If you are looking for guidance with anxiety, fears, depression, or stress, it takes courage to ask for help. Admitting you can’t do everything on your own, is the first step toward achieving wellness in a fast-paced, demanding world. The good news is, that asking for help gets easier with a little practice. The way in which we cope with the world is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help, and obtaining a fresh perspective is often the first and most profound step toward developing the mental muscle needed to become stronger. The more support you gain, the better equipped you will be to take on bigger challenges!
Come talk to me so we can discover the root cause of these symptoms. Cognitive distortions (intrusive thoughts) are the cause of a lot of our emotional turmoil, how many times have you struggled with accepting or letting go? Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), I help clients change unhealthy thinking patterns.
I enjoy helping clients find the meaning behind their thoughts and challenging them to look at situations from a different perspective. My favorite quote is “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. Click the link to email me or call me anytime and leave a voicemail and I will get back to you within 24 hours. I provide telehealth (video) sessions.
