My Approach to Helping
As your therapist, we work together to help you understand where your thoughts and actions may be sabotaging your growth and success. Our work together is collaborative and engaging. Sometimes hearing something said from a different perspective makes all the difference. I very much enjoy seeing people succeed and overcome their anxiety, fears, and depression. I am happy to sit and talk with you before scheduling an appointment so you can learn more about my approach and work as a psychotherapist for over 15 years. Forming a trusting and lasting connection with you is most important to there process of successful therapy.
I work closely with you in understanding the source of your thoughts and feelings. In a collaborative and nonjudgmental manner, we acknowledge them. At your pace and desired length of therapy, we reduce tendencies to avoid and suppress issues relating to past traumas. In helping yourself, you inevitably foster better connections, love and healthier perceptions.
