My Approach to Helping
Welcome everyone! I've been doing this for the past 8 years and I wouldn't continue to do so if I wasn't so passionate about therapy. We all have our personal demons and moments that we're unsure of, labels that either we put on ourselves or regardlessly ended up believing, moments we may wish we could take back, or decisions like this Exact Moment of reaching out to a mental health therapist. At least I know I've experienced this, some failed relationships, decisions made without the best judgement, harsh words of my own... nicely dedicated to myself, and the beauty of family and friends, they can be a gift and a curse, not to mention the baggage we obtained from life without seeking it.
I believe in therapy because I've gone through it and believed in it enough to make a career of it. We're not always heroes or in control of our own lives and therapy is the safest place with an objective professional to provide you with the support, challenges, and changes you're looking for; Give me a call.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Going to therapy, knowing you will share some of the most intimate parts of your life, in order to reach the best version of yourself is extremely brave. Not everyone can manage to hear themselves speak the truth about who they are, and acknowledge the good with the bad. It takes bravery, vulnerability, adaptability, strength, and motivation to seek help, and look within. It's a unique experience, that is well worth it, because you will come out of this a positively stronger person, both emotionally and mentally.
My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'
Our life is not the issue and who we are is not a walking disorder because we all have problems, that's the nature of living. It's not always about accepting labels or even eliminating what bothers us, but at times it is about alleviating the annoyance it causes us and learning how to manage the issues. Together we can seek what works best for you, we will change what is in your control and we will learn to accept what is out of your control, while still developing the skills to live a better life that isn't defined by disorders.
