My Approach to Helping
I know how real the struggle is. Waking up (if you even got sleep) feeling unsure, unprepared, and not at all confident. There's a baby, toddler, or teenager screaming and you're not sure you're up to the task of dealing with it, but you do it because you have to do it. The worst part is that you're supposed to feel joyful about it and you just don't.
That's where I come in. I specialize in helping moms throughout the parenting journey, with special training in the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders.
I am obsessed with helping moms be their absolute best selves.
As a counselor, I do this first by giving you the space to be real about the hard stuff: the feelings of inadequacy, doubt, even the thoughts of hurting yourself or others.
From there, we will work together to find the most effective tools for you to use so that you can pull yourself out of the funk. That might mean working some new habits into your day, or having difficult conversations that you've been avoiding, or making massive change that seems out of reach.
I know you, I see you, and there is help for you. I would be honored to meet you and support you through the dark times.
