Being diagnosed with a chronic illness can come as a blow. It's normal to experience a range of emotions in the wake of such a diagnosis. Digesting news of your disease can bring a flood of emotions. A diagnosis can be often associated with feelings grief. This is a common reaction to chronic illness. You may experience various stages of grief including denial, bargaining, anger and sadness. You may feel you're on a roller coaster of emotions feeling acceptance one day and angry the next. It may help to remind yourself that these feelings are normal, and will likely ease with time. However, this may be so difficult, that you need support to make sense of all of this. That is where I can help you.

My specialty is working with individuals with chronic illness with a specialty in neurological disorders and Parkinson's Disease. I can help with apathy and other issues related to Parkinson's.

Chronic illness is extremely complex. I have a very extensive medical background and consider myself a patient advocate. I am extremely familiar with complex medical systems and terminology.

Illness in any form can be so devastating. We can work together to make your life rewarding and fulfilling again.
