Dr. Darlene Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina, and a Nationally Recognized Board Certified Counselor (NCC) with over 30 years of experience. She works with clients of all ages who are experiencing stress, depression, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, couple's issues, teen issues, and much more. Darlene completed her Master's degree in Counseling at the University of the District of Columbia, and her Doctorate in Social Work from Morgan State University. She utilizes multiple treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness strategies, and more. Darlene believes that everyone has the internal capacity to bring positive change in their thinking and overall lives.
