My Approach to Helping
No matter what mistakes we have made and the circumstances we come from, we deserve to live a good life, we deserve to experience love, and we deserve to be seen and heard. In therapy, it is my intention to facilitate healing and growth. I don't have all the answers and I won't fix all of your pains/problems. However, I want to partner with you and unpack one layer at a time, if you are feeling unworthy, invisible, empty, flawed, unloved, or unlovable. Together, we will work on identifying the beliefs that no longer serve you, discover why these beliefs are present, and construct a new foundation that nurtures your highest potential.

I am a CEN therapist. CEN stands for Childhood Emotional Neglect. When we grow up in an environment where our parents/care providers failed to respond ENOUGH to our emotional needs, it will impact the way we show up in relationships and in life as an adult (inability to connect, self-critical, numbness, inadequacy ). CEN is not about blaming but understanding, which sets the foundation for recovery.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
Life happens and we need help from time to time. sometimes, we don't want to talk to our families/friends about our problem. This is where a therapist (objective) can come in handy. Just like you would go to a chiropractor to get proper alignment of the body, a therapist assists you to obtain proper emotional/mental/spiritual alignment so you can show up better in life.
