I believe we all need a little help from time to time throughout our lives. This is normal, not needy or crazy. I believe in the power of labels and therefore I am not a fan thinking that we are either mentally healthy or mentally ill. We all struggle, some of us more than others. Life can be hard. We are all doing the best we can. I'd like to think I can help raise that bar from surviving to thriving. I believe in partnering with my clients. I aspire to earn your trust and will work hard to do so. FYI, I am not only a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; I was a Nutritionist first. So, you get "two for the price of one" professionals when you work with me. That's only if you choose to access the Nutrition Counseling piece of my practice. I am a Cancer Survivor, though I am not sure I am a fan of that accolade. Enduring cancer treatment has made me a better therapist and all-around better person and for that I am grateful. Lastly, I know I will learn from you as much as you learn from me and that is what I love most about what I do.
